All about Property South Africa

The Property South Africa blog was created by two property consultants with a passion for property and a desperate need to educate and inform buyers and sellers alike.

We have noticed during our career in the property field, that buyers are often kept in the dark or poorly informed of the properties they are interested in, the general market conditions, the area and planned development near their area of interest. On the other side of the coin, the sellers are often under false impressions with regards to the value and marketing of their properties.

Property South Africa’s mission is thus to keep buyers and sellers informed of the market conditions in the country, property prices, the duties of agents, legal questions, tax implications, etc.

Personally, we specialise in the Overberg region, which is part of the Western Cape province in South Africa. We are also linked to over 2000 qualified estate agents country-wide and have a 24-hour connection to conveyancers and attorneys. We thus feel confident that we can assist you with any questions you might have regarding property in South Africa.

Please feel free to e-mail us your questions or property needs.

How can I determine if a us citizen owns property in South Africa.

    Hi John

    Thank you for the comment.

You’ll need the person’s passport number and full names. Then you can contact a conveyancing attorney to do a deeds search on that person. A deeds search will show all properties owned or co-owned by that specific person.

Please contact me via e-mail, should you require further assistance.
